We had a wonderful time being in and around the cottage and in the wide surroundings. We visited Bath, Berkeley Castle, Avebury, Swindon, the Cotswolds, Bowood Estate and more. The County of Wiltshire is beautiful and so is the cottage. Never have we had such a complete and well thought out place on holiday,. The kitchen is more than fully equipped, the bathroom is modern, clean and efficient and the cottage offered all we needed. We would like to thank you for letting us stay in the cottage and will keep this place in our minds for our next visit to Wiltshire.

Understated sophistication and comfort. Love the future proof USB ports in the kitchen and bedroom. Very avant garde. Bravo Sally and Charles. We’ll be back next year!

An absolutely delightful week at Copse Cottage, which is beautiful, comfortable and thoughtfully furnished. We go home, relaxed, refreshed and even with a case of clean clothes. Some wonderful walks and sights - Avebury, Stonehenge, the Alton Barnes White Horse, various long barrows and houses and gardens including Lacock Abbey. Food at The King’s Arms is great and the garden centre in Woodborough and Mill at Honey Street worth a visit. Thank you for the eggs too! Plan to come back!
PS Outstanding WiFi and thanks for the Netflix!

Lovely to return to the peace and tranquility of Copse Cottage, I’ll be back! Thank you for everything!
Our second visit to the beautiful Copse Cottage. Felt like home straight away, and we don’t want to leave. Despite the weather’s best efforts to put us off, we managed 3 days of walking, and enjoying the fabulous countryside. Thank you for all the goodies, Sally and Charles, and thank you for another relaxing break.

Copse Cottage is a welcome retreat for anyone wanting a weekend away from London. Nestled in All Cannings, it's accessible to lovely quiet walks and great local towns (Marlborough being one). The cottage itself was very modern with nice features. A great stay!

Thank you for a wonderful stay. We enjoyed a relaxing break over New Year in this lovely cottage which has everything you could ask for! Hope to return in the future.

A home from home but much, much better! Superbly and thoughtfully equipped and appointed. A wonderful walk on the Pewsey Downs on Christmas Eve in full sun will be an abiding memory. Happy New Year!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cottage. Everything was taken care of to the last detail - and while Sally ensured our privacy, was always available to attend to any request. The Cottage was private, spotlessly clean and ideally situated at the edge of a lovely village and in a beautiful part of England with lots to see and do in the immediate area. We have been driving around the UK for a month and this stay was a standout.

We’ve had a great weekend, chilling, exploring, eating and drinking. The Kings Arms in the village is well worth a visit - good food and a warm welcome.
The cottage has everything we could ask for - and more. We’ll be back for longer next time. Thank you.

Exceptional! Copse Cottage really is the perfect cosy hideaway for two!
Myself and my husband have just returned from a lovely long weekend feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and thoroughly spoilt. The cottage is stylishly yet thoughtfully presented and we literally wanted for nothing. It was spotlessly clean, spacious and super comfortable with lots of little touches that made you feel instantly that your stay was going to be something special. The bed was very comfortable and beautifully dressed, bathroom luxurious and curling up in front of the wood burning stove in the evening was so cosy and positively romantic! Who could want for more?
We were blessed with beautiful autumn sunshine and made use of the pretty patio area overlooking woodland and rolling hills beyond. We strolled into the village which was picture perfect and enjoyed a drink in the local pub. There is a handy little shop for essentials too.
Further afield we visited Devizes which had a good range of shops for supplies and a pretty square at its centre. Marlborough was close by too with it’s impressively wide High Street just perfect for a browse. Essential is a visit to Pollys Tea Rooms for afternoon tea or breakfast....delicious! If you enjoy walking then Cean Hill Locks and Jubliee Wood are a must. The Locks are an amazing feat of engineering and there is a pretty pub with a garden on the side of the canal where you can sit and watch the boats glide by with a glass of wine.....perfect!
We both had a wonderful stay in All Cannings and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this stunning property! We will be back......

Lovely cottage. Spacious, well equipped with many luxurious touches. Perfect !
Had a lovely long weekend staying here at Copse Cottage. We stay in a lot of rented cottages and thought this was perfect. Comfortable, well equipped, with so many luxurious and thoughtful extras. Definitely 5* accommodation and we hope to return again for a longer time. The area has so much to see and do; we enjoyed walking to Alton Barnes White Horse along the canal from the cottage, a trip to Avebury and going to Caen Hill Locks in Devizes. Thank you so much Sally and Charles for a lovely stay, our batteries are now fully charged.

Sally came to welcome us once we had settled into the cottage and said she was available if we needed anything.
Copse Cottage is in a peaceful location, two minutes from the canal, with a view of the White Horse from the window.
The cottage is spotlessly clean with stylish, quality furniture and fittings, flowers from the garden and eggs for our breakfast.
We were very comfortable and had a lovely time here, the time passed so quickly and it was time to go. We highly recommend this lovely holiday home.

Thank you so much for our lovely honeymoon at Copse Cottage. A perfect place for romantic evenings. Thanks a lot for the information about the new crop circle and all the lovely things in the cottage waiting for us. We’ll remember this time forever.
Copse Cottage is the perfect getaway! Located a short distance from the canal and surrounded by countryside, it’s peaceful and relaxing. The cottage itself has everything you need - WiFi, smart TV, Alexa and a fully equipped kitchen. Lovely touches from Sally were the flowers, fresh eggs plus milk and OJ in the fridge. I stayed for a week as an escape from London, I can’t recommend it enough - I’ll be going back!
Copse Cottage is beautiful with a warmth showing love in its atmosphere with thoughtful touches here and there. Thank you Sally for the lovely fresh eggs. Your cottage is special and may more people feel the warming energy, love and light!

Super stay in this absolutely fabulous cottage (a real treasure) and such a lovely area with so much to see and do. Thoughtful touches like water bottles on the bedside cabinets, fresh eggs and orange juice in the fridge were much appreciated.

Away from our busy city, this was perfect for our holiday. Serenity of environment, the nature feeling with all those singing birds was really relaxing. We love to cook and the kitchen has everything to offer. Well equipped cottage, done so nicely and so comfortably. Highly recommended!
It was everything you need in a Cottage. I started to think it was our own home - it felt so comfortable.
Its situated in a lovely area as well - for walks and good clean air! All Cannings village is really a little gem of a place. Who knew!

Copse Cottage is the perfect place if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing get-away. Situated on the edge of All Cannings, the cottage is surrounded by idyllic hillsides; there are plenty of options for walks in the sunshine. You can see the rolling hills from the living room window - we couldn't refuse going out into the fresh air! The town of Devizes is nearby. It's a 12 minute drive or we enjoyed a long stroll down the canal into town - there are plenty of pubs to stop at along the way! There is a bus that takes you straight into town from All Cannings if you need a break from walking, but you will have to time it right as they only come every so often! The cottage was spotlessly clean, superbly stylish and boasted all the modern appliances one would need to make their stay a comfortable one. We were left with ample information to answer any questions that might have popped up (ie/ how does this appliance work??!) and Sally was the perfect host. We had a brilliant weekend here and will definitely be returning again! We couldn't recommend more. We only wish we'd had longer here.

We had a wonderful time at Copse Cottage. We wished we had booked for longer. Everything we needed was available. We loved the little touches in the cottage, it made it feel like home. It’s situated in a beautiful area and we loved seeing the chickens roaming around in the morning!
Thank you for having us and we can’t wait to book again! Sally was happy to answer any questions and gave us a few tips for the area.

What a beautiful little cottage surrounded by amazing countryside. It was so well equipped with everything we could have wanted and more! It truly was the perfect home away from home and we hope to return soon for longer.

How fortunate we were to find this gem of a cottage nestled in the Wiltshire countryside.
This cottage is without doubt one of the most beautiful properties we have ever stayed in (both in the UK or abroad). From the moment you walk in, you can see how much thought has gone into furnishing this gorgeous cottage. From the comfy bed, sumptuous linen, luxurious bathroom to the well-equipped kitchen.
The hosts Sally and Charles could not be more helpful, from the moment we booked, to the little goodies found in the kitchen (and a big bonus was ice in the freezer for that all-important G&T on arrival). They also provided a helpful guide to the local area, which included details of the local pub where we had a pleasant supper on the Saturday evening.
