“Our second visit to Copse Cottage. we came in the storm in Nov ‘24. This time we had just the best weather so had the opportunity to get to know the surrounding areas more. We visited Devizes, Trowbridge, Marlborough, Chippenham, Wells and our favourite Bradford on Avon - can highly recommend the river walk from the town to the Tithe Barn and the canal. Lovely Cafe there too, to grab a coffee by the water.
The Cottage didn’t disappoint - just as we remembered it, so cosy and comfortable, we even got to spend time sitting outside enjoying the lovely views.
We’ll definitely come back again - just what was needed to recharge our batteries, thank you.”

“We came to the Avebury area for a few days to celebrate my BIG birthday - and Copse Cottage has been a wonderful home from home for us to be based at. 15 minutes from Avebury, which is magical and the walking in and around Avebury is superb, and Marlborough, where we celebrated by Birthday over lunch at Dan’s at the Crown (excellent), was an interesting town with an ‘olde world’ feel and some excellent independent shops.
Copse Cottage wants for nothing, great location, it’s own land and copse to enjoy, total privacy and luxuriously fitted out - the bed super comfy, the bedroom a good size, we loved it!”

“A wonderful week. A beautiful cottage! We visited far and wide - Avebury, Salisbury, Lacock and down to the coast to Beaulieu and the ‘Mary Rose’.
Loved watching the buzzards and the hares in the field.”

“Three years since my last visit, but it still felt like home as soon as I stepped through the door. Love the ‘caught on camera’ photo book. So good to see the variety of wildlife that calls this place home, and to hear the owls calling in the night.
Take a walk up to the Long Barrow near Cannings Cross Farm, beautiful views, a very tranquil spot.
